Organises the student reduced-gravity challenge
Students for the Exploration and Development of Space – Canada runs the national student reduced-gravity challenge that CLOT-LESS flies under. SEDS-Canada handles the design reviews, safety documentation and campaign logistics that turn a student proposal into a payload cleared to fly.
The reduced-gravity challenge CLOT-LESS flies under
The Canadian Reduced Gravity Experiment Design Challenge is the competition that selected CLOT-LESS to fly. CAN-RGX takes student teams from proposal through design review, safety certification and integration, ending in a parabolic flight campaign — the structure that makes an experiment like this achievable at the student level at all.

Backs the campaign, plus two accepted student grants
The Canadian Space Agency supports the reduced-gravity challenge that puts a student-built payload on a parabolic flight in the first place. The CSA has additionally awarded CLOT-LESS a student conference grant supporting presentation at the International Astronautical Congress, and a student grant covering campaign travel costs.
Operates the research aircraft flying the campaign
The National Research Council operates the research aircraft and the flight operations that generate the microgravity window CLOT-LESS depends on. Each parabola delivers roughly twenty seconds of near-zero gravity — the entire experimental window the payload is designed around.

In-kind hardware and consumables contributed to the payload.
Donated 40 µ-Slide I 0.4 collagen Luer flow channels
ibidi donated forty µ-Slide I 0.4 collagen Luer flow channels — the microfluidic channels the clots are formed inside and the drug is perfused through. These slides are the experimental vessel itself: every pressure measurement the study produces is taken across one of them.
Donated liquid flow sensing hardware
Sensirion contributed flow sensing hardware to the fluidic system. Independent measurement of flow rate matters because the study’s central claim rests on the infusion rate being identical in both gravity conditions — verifying that directly, rather than trusting the pump setpoint alone, is what makes the comparison sound.

Financial support for reagents and project costs.
Funding for TNKase procurement
The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation is funding procurement of TNKase (tenecteplase) — the thrombolytic agent at the centre of the study. Securing the drug is what makes the experiment possible at all; without it there is nothing to perfuse through the clots.
